Metal Kling Kong

Mexico, 2013 - Performative Architecture Study - Paper, Cardboard - Art Residency hosted by SOMA and accomodation by R.A.T. Intercambio.

Inspired by the elections in Mexico, My goal was to design a kinetic architecture that could be used in street performance and pushed by as many people as needed. Constructed on wheels , operated by two performer and made of rusted metal; the gigantic being will roll through the circular rollercoaster track while violently opening and closing its mouth in order to amplify the sound of the protest with its metallic jaws.
